Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chase Blevins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Rossman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that David Rossman was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Chase Blevins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Rossman!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Blevins pinned against the cage. Blevins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rossman misses with a wild combination.
Blevins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rossman as he avoids it easily.

Rossman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blevins tries to avoid it but Rossman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blevins to the ground. Blevins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rossman darts in and clinches Blevins up against the cage.
Rossman misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Blevins.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That was a close round but I would say that Chase Blevins will probably get the nod.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Blevins lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rossman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rossman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Blevins jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rossman walks away with a smile on his face. Blevins gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Rossman jumps guard and drags Blevins to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Rossman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Blevins controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rossman wants to control the position but Blevins says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Rossman is trying to maintain the position but Blevins is very close to passing his half guard.

Blevins wants to take a breather but Rossman is having none of it.
Blevins is nestled in close to Rossman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Blevins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chase Blevins.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Blevins, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
