Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steve River (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toast Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). River comes into the arena with Tom Petty - I Won't Back Down blaring out of the sound system. Man has chosen POWDERED... TOAST... MAAAAAAAAANN!!! as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
River tries to clinch but Man is having none of it.
River throws a left and a right that both miss
and Man counters with a good low kick that River was not able to check.
River misses with a head kick.
Man thows a body shot but no joy.
Man misses with a leg kick
and River counters with a nice body shot.
Man fakes the leg kick and cracks River in the body.
We've been informed that Man has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
River shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
River tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Steve River seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
River lands with a straight right. Man didn't see that one coming.

River seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
River throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
River looks to land a right hand but Man moved out of range.
River uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Man.
Man slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Man misses with an uppercut. River saw that one coming.
Man circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sloppy strikes from River. Those never looked like landing.
River wants to clinch.
Man tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

River steps in with a hook that catches Man right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! River follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Man looks absolutely devastated.
