PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drew Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazekage Gaara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gaara has chosen Snoop Dogg - Breathe It In as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaara misses with a head kick.
Gaara tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Gaara gets caught napping as Gracie dives in and scores a takedown. Gaara manages to retain guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Gracie postures up in Gaara's guard and throws a big left but Gaara blocks it.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Gaara keeps moving.

Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gaara has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Gaara's legs - danger averted.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
