Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Travis Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Horton Hoo!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Travis Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Green shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hoo defends it nicely.
Green shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hoo as he avoids it easily.
Green gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hoo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Green's knee momentarily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Travis Green. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Green tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Hoo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Green swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hoo has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Green scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Green is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hoo sees it coming and defends easily.

Hoo is trying to stand up here but Green is controlling him well.
Hoo moves into full guard.
Hoo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Green stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hoo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hoo holds on and takes a little breather.

Green drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Green jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hoo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Green is one step ahead there.
Hoo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Green won't allow Hoo to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Green is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hoo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Horton Hoo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Hoo looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Green has his foot on Hoo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hoo works his way back into a safe position though.

Hoo is sitting in close to Green's body. Green has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hoo is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hoo is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Green.
