Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Lestek Piast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Love Bug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piast comes into the arena with Donatan - Słowiańska krew blaring out of the sound system. Bug is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Big Ballin with My Homies. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lestek Piast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Love Bug!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piast takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Piast throws the kick towards the body but Bug avoids it.
Piast throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bug takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Piast lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bug at a distance.
Piast bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bug's head.

It looks like Love Bug has been cut.
Piast jabs Bug right on the nose. Bug blinks but takes it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Piast missing with a left hand there. Bug was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Piast throws a looping overhand right but Bug ducks down to avoid it.
Piast throws a poor cross that misses
and Bug counters with an inside leg kick.
That kick from Piast tenderised Bug's leg. Bug is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bug fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Piast.
Bug moves in looking to clinch but Piast pushes him off.
Bug scores with a push kick.
Piast is breathing heavily.
Bug delivers a nice body kick.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Bug - that will leave a mark!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bug throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Good leg kick by Bug there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bug is looking to score with low kicks.
Piast takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bug is looking to slow Piast down with leg kicks.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bug clips Piast with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Piast a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

It looks like Lestek Piast has been cut.
Bug connects with a solid leg kick.
Bug throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Lestek Piast seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bug pushes Piast up against the ropes in a clinch.
Bug misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Bug pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Piast takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Bug throws out a powerful jab.

Bug cracks Piast with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Piast is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Piast is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Piast fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bug looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bug.
Piast thows a leg kick but Bug checks it
and Bug counters with a nice body shot.
Bug dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Piast drops his guard momentarily, allowing Bug to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Piast! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Bug takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Love Bug!
