Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ai Kill Yu Nao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Marchand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brad Marchand has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yu Nao lands with a shot to the body.

Marchand thuds his right hand into Yu Nao's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
We've been told by Yu Nao's head coaches at Combat Sports Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Marchand shoots for a double leg takedown but Yu Nao sprawls well. He's pushed Marchand's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Marchand darts in looking for a takedown but Yu Nao gets double underhooks and turns Marchand into the cage.
Yu Nao tries to break the clinch but Marchand is controlling the position.
Yu Nao is leaning against Marchand and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Marchand has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Yu Nao is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Marchand shoots in looking for a takedown but Yu Nao manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Marchand's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ai Kill Yu Nao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Marchand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Marchand takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Marchand drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Marchand jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Yu Nao utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Yu Nao knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Marchand on the ground.

Yu Nao is staying active underneath Marchand, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Yu Nao has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Marchand is working away from the top position though.

Marchand seems to be working for a kimura but Yu Nao defends the submission attempt.

Marchand is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Yu Nao sees it coming and defends easily.

Marchand is trying to control the action in half guard but Yu Nao is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
