Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aniket Kabir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergio Moreno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kabir wants to clinch up but Moreno keeps it at a distance.
Kabir could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Moreno keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kabir tries for a takedown but Moreno circles away easily

and Moreno counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Moreno.
Kabir tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Moreno just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aniket Kabir. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Moreno escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kabir can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Moreno controls the pace.

Sergio Moreno has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Kabir shoots in looking for a takedown. Moreno tries to sprawl out of it but Kabir keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Moreno manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Moreno has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

It looks like Moreno might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Moreno bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Moreno throws an elbow but Kabir slips to the side and avoids it well.
Kabir sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Moreno has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Kabir is in a horrible position here. Moreno smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Kabir stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Moreno.
