And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miguel Oliveira!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Callahan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Oliveira is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Callahan to keep the fight standing.
Oliveira looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Callahan jumps into guard, dragging Oliveira to the mat.
Oliveira has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Callahan is proving hard to escape from.
Oliveira must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Callahan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Oliveira tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Callahan is in Oliveira's guard.

Oliveira is looking to get back to his feet here but Callahan is keeping cool and he's managed to take Oliveira's back.

We're going to have a standup here because Keneth Callahan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Oliveira throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Callahan's waist but Callahan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Oliveira off to one side.
