Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Vegata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Rizzo Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vegata on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Vegata counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Vegata.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Rizzo Jr is looking for a triangle but Vegata pushes his legs off easily.
Rizzo Jr has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Vegata has passed into side control.
Vegata is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rizzo Jr is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Vegata is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rizzo Jr.

Vegata shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rizzo Jr as he avoids it easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

After winning the bout, Frank Rizzo Jr thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
