With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Redfield!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redfield misses with an uppercut
and Pearse counters with a right hand to the body.
Redfield throws a big shot that misses.
Pearse lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Pearse keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Redfield avoids the body shot from Pearse.
Pearse tries to clinch up
and Redfield counters with a straight right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pearse ducks under a wild hook from Redfield.
No joy there for Redfield, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Redfield scores with a punch to the head.


It looks like Adamh Pearse has been cut.
Pearse uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Redfield.
Pearse stalks Redfield and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Redfield's face. Redfield staggers backwards, shaken.
Pearse misses with a wild combination.
Pearse defending well as Redfield loads up on a big left hand.

Pearse moves in looking to clinch but Redfield pushes him off.
Redfield keeps the fight on the outside.
Redfield shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pearse as he avoids it easily.
Pearse scores with a three punch combo!
Pearse slips a straight right by Redfield.
Chris Redfield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Redfield connects with a single shot there.
Redfield throws a nice looking combination but Pearse bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Redfield misses with a right hand

and Pearse counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pearse.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Redfield pulls Pearse in close to his closed guard and prevents Pearse from doing any damage or advancing position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Adamh Pearse just wasn't active enough.

Redfield is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Redfield throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pearse.
Pearse feints and then cracks Redfield's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Redfield down.
Adamh Pearse is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Redfield scores with a jab. Pearse acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Redfield swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Redfield swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pearse.
Redfield dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Redfield lands with an overhand left.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Redfield throws a nice looking combination but Pearse bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pearse slips a jab and a cross from Redfield.
Redfield throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pearse sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Redfield looks winded!
Redfield looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A slow jab from Redfield misses its intended target.
We've been told by Pearse's head coaches at Laoch Den that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Redfield throws a right hand that Pearse ducks under and follows up with a left that Pearse also avoids with ease.
Redfield throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Pearse's head.
Pearse tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Redfield was well out of range. Poor timing from Pearse.
Redfield throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Redfield throws a push kick but Pearse slaps the foot to one side.
Pearse feints and then cracks Redfield's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Redfield down.
Redfield takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Pearse scoring well with a low kick there.
Redfield takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Pearse's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Pearse duly obliges.
Pearse tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Redfield manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Redfield looks for a takedown but Pearse sprawls well.
Adamh Pearse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Redfield.

Pearse rushes Redfield and presses him up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adamh Pearse dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Redfield misses with a jab to the body

and Pearse counters with a crisp one two that drops Redfield! Pearse thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Redfield to his feet! Redfield is in big trouble!
Adamh Pearse is winning the standup battle so far.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Redfield moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Redfield throws a poor cross that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Pearse lands a big uppercut and Redfield crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Redfield looks OK. Pearse waves Redfield back to his feet!


Redfield is rocked!
Pearse darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Redfield's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Pearse before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Adamh Pearse!
Adamh Pearse seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
