And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yo Eshimuro!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eshimuro lands a left and a right that sends Capoeira crashing to the canvas! Eshimuro dives into mount looking to finish!


It looks like Rafinha Capoeira has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Eshimuro can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Capoeira is looking to escape.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Eshimuro working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Eshimuro has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Capoeira uses from the top position.
