Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lithe Tarzan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Diggler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lithe Tarzan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dirk Diggler!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diggler digs a good body shot into Tarzan's ribs.
Diggler throws a good cross that connects.
Tarzan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Diggler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tarzan somewhat.

and Diggler counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Lithe Tarzan has been cut.

Tarzan dives in and scores a takedown into Diggler's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Diggler is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tarzan is controlling him.
Diggler told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Tarzan pushes down on Diggler's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Diggler is defending against the submission attempts here by Tarzan.

Diggler looks like he's trying to stand up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tarzan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Tarzan wants to free his trapped foot but Diggler is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Tarzan is trying to work for a kimura but Diggler is defending well.
Tarzan is looking to stall here but Diggler recovers full guard.

Tarzan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diggler swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tarzan throws a strike but Diggler rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Tarzan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Diggler defends well.
Tarzan controls Diggler momentarily but Diggler frees himself.
Tarzan has momentary wrist control but Diggler slips an elbow through the middle.

Diggler is looking to work some ground and pound but Tarzan has wrist control.

Diggler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Diggler has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Tarzan to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Diggler is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Tarzan pulls down on the head and he's put Diggler to sleep! This one is all over!
