Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Donald Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stewart comes to the cage accompanied by Celly cel - Its Goin Down Tonight . Jax Sullivan acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Donald Stewart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jax Sullivan!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sullivan enables Stewart to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sullivan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Stewart lands a couple of elbows.
Sullivan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Stewart has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sullivan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Sullivan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stewart. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stewart throws an elbow that misses. Sullivan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stewart's guard. Nice move by Sullivan!

Stewart is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Stewart has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sullivan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stewart lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sullivan!
Stewart is landing with some decent strikes but Sullivan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sullivan takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stewart shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sullivan is trying to defend but Stewart finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Donald Stewart overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Stewart is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sullivan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stewart.

Stewart is looking for a kimura but Sullivan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Stewart to get the leverage.

Stewart thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Stewart seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Stewart throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Sullivan to regain full guard.

Stewart is looking to work some ground and pound but Sullivan has wrist control.
Stewart wants to control from the top but Sullivan keeps moving.
Stewart is working Sullivan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Stewart stands and throws Sullivan's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Stewart is looking to take a break and control but Sullivan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Stewart advances to full mount.

Sullivan takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stewart is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Sullivan goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Stewart!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Donald Stewart!
