Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billy Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chong Zhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhu has chosen Meet Gazoo as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 29 - 1, fighting out of London, Billy Riley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chong Zhu!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhu cracks a nice hook into Riley's ribs.
Zhu throws a series of strikes that have Riley backpedaling.
Zhu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zhu wants it to stay on the feet.
Zhu is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Zhu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Riley.
Zhu cracks Riley with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Riley looks to land a body kick but Zhu moved away.
Zhu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Zhu.
Zhu stuffs the takedown attempt from Riley. Riley gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Riley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Riley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Zhu throws out the jab.
Zhu fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Riley.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Riley closes the distance and clinches.
Riley is looking to take this one to the mat.
Zhu tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Zhu breaks from the clinch.
Zhu lands a head kick. Riley smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Zhu pushes Riley away with a front kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A slapping leg kick lands for Zhu.
Riley takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Riley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zhu is fending him off so far but Riley persists. Nope, Zhu circles away and we're back to standing.
Riley shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zhu defends it nicely.
Riley blocks a jab.

and Zhu counters with a nice leg kick.
Riley tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zhu swivels and escapes.
Riley blocks a head kick by Zhu.
Zhu stuffs the takedown attempt from Riley. Riley gets slowly back to his feet.
Riley dives in and grabs Zhu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zhu pushes down on Riley's head and hops out.
Riley is breathing heavily.
Zhu dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Riley. That did some damage!
Billy Riley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Riley has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Zhu.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zhu lands a nice looking body shot.
Riley is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zhu sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Zhu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Riley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Riley takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Riley misses with a takedown attempt - Zhu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Zhu lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Riley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zhu tries to avoid it but Riley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zhu to the ground. Zhu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zhu lands with a thumping leg kick.
Riley takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Zhu lands a two punch combo.
Zhu lands a head kick. Riley smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Zhu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Riley.
Riley closes the distance and clinches up with Zhu, looking for a takedown. Riley pushes Zhu against the cage but Zhu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Riley takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Riley chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Zhu can pounce on him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Zhu darts in and clinches Riley up against the cage.
Zhu connects with a nasty looking knee right to Riley's face.
Zhu lands a nice knee to the body.
Zhu slowing the pace effectively.
Riley is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Riley has Zhu pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Zhu manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Riley tries to score a body lock takedown but Zhu shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Zhu lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Riley backwards.

Zhu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Riley avoids the head kick by Zhu.
Zhu buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Riley shoots in but Zhu avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Riley gets tackled into the cage by Zhu. Zhu maintains the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Riley blocks an elbow strike from Zhu.
Riley has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Zhu avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Zhu.
Zhu lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Knees to the body from Zhu.
Zhu lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Zhu tries to land a knee to the head but Riley blocks with his arms.
Riley doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zhu lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Riley backwards.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Riley. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Riley fails to pull guard.

Riley pulls Zhu into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chong Zhu dominated that round.
That's time! Riley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Zhu fakes the leg kick and cracks Riley in the body.

Riley gets the takedown into side control.
Zhu manages to work his way to half guard, despite Riley's best efforts.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Zhu looking for a triangle here. Riley is fighting it but it looks tight! Zhu pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Riley is tapping out - this one is all over!
