De Payens feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mendoza sprawling to the canvas! Mendoza rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can De Payens finish him?!

It looks like Luis Mendoza has been cut.
De Payens fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Mendoza square on the jaw! Damn, Mendoza is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

In his post fight interview, Hugues De Payens gave a big smile as he said 'Mendoza was tough, but I am tougher. I'm ready to start facing some champions! Broken Halo Pride!'.
