Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vahan Karamyenyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mattias Ericsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karamyenyan comes to the cage accompanied by Saw Theme - Bonecrusher ft. Lil Jon. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ericsson shoots in for a takedown but Karamyenyan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Karamyenyan gets caught flat footed, as Ericsson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Karamyenyan is trying to control the position but Ericsson postures up.

Karamyenyan controls Ericsson momentarily but Ericsson frees himself.

Ericsson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Karamyenyan has worked his arm free - good work by Karamyenyan!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ericsson is looking to advance position but Karamyenyan won't allow it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ericsson is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Karamyenyan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mattias Ericsson dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Ericsson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Karamyenyan's waist but Karamyenyan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ericsson off to one side.

Ericsson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ericsson lands in his opponent's guard.
Karamyenyan seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Mattias Ericsson has got the better of the ground game so far.

Karamyenyan is staying active underneath Ericsson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Karamyenyan is looking to control Ericsson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Karamyenyan avoid being mounted?
