Finklebaum drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gee!

Finklebaum takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Finklebaum feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gee enables Finklebaum to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gee manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Finklebaum throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gee was covering up waiting for the punch and Finklebaum finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tony Gee.
Well Finklebaum has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Miklos Finklebaum rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
