Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Gianni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Chorizo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gianni's entrance music is Somewhere I belong. A fine choice. Charlie Chorizo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hector Gianni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charlie Chorizo!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chorizo moves out of range of the body kick.
Gianni tries to clinch but Chorizo is having none of it.
Chorizo throws a body punch but Gianni moves out of range.
Chorizo checks the leg kick.
Chorizo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gianni.
Chorizo lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Chorizo on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gianni. Gianni obviously looking to wear him down.
Gianni tries to score with a low kick but Chorizo moves his leg out of the way.
Gianni fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Chorizo. Those never looked like landing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gianni gets tackled into the cage by Chorizo. Chorizo maintains the clinch.
Gianni pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Chorizo blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Chorizo lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Gianni backwards.

Oh Gianni is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chorizo lands a hook to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chorizo creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Gianni's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Gianni drops to his knees and Chorizo pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charlie Chorizo!
Charlie Chorizo really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Backyard Fighting logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
The defeated Hector Gianni had this to say: 'This may have been my last fight. I have things to think through, but I'm not the fighter I used to be. Getting too old for the sport and injuries have been taking a lot out of me.'.
