The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Simmons is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Simmons extends the arm and Chida is forced to tap!

A relieved looking Tyler Simmons thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
