Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, James Granger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mibon Turua!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turua leaves Granger with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Granger. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Granger shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Turua as he avoids it easily.

Turua decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Turua lands a nice short elbow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turua looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Granger with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Granger is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Turua is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Turua got a little sloppy there for a moment and Granger has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Turua has managed to get both his arms back between Granger's legs - danger averted.

Turua would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Granger has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Turua can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
