Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Ashnault (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Glenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glenn has chosen Seven Nation Army as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anthony Ashnault!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keith Glenn!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glenn fails with the takedown.
Glenn shoots in for a double leg but Ashnault sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Glenn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ashnault looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Glenn throws a solid leg kick but Ashnault takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Glenn.

Glenn dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Glenn closes the distance and clinches.
Ashnault lands a right hand.

Glenn has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ashnault uses from the top position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Keith Glenn wasn't active enough on the ground.
Glenn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ashnault pinned against the cage. Ashnault gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Glenn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Glenn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ashnault's guard.
Ashnault is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Glenn scores with a couple of nice shots.

That was a close second round but I would say that Anthony Ashnault will probably get the nod.

Glenn tightens his grip and picks Ashnault up, before dumping him to the ground. Ashnault manages to land in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Glenn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ashnault wants to take the fight to the mat but Glenn manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Glenn tries to work over Ashnault's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Ashnault keeps the fight on the outside.
Glenn wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

and Ashnault counters with a shoot takedown. Glenn fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
