Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hendricks is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Somebody's getting fucked up. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks throws a shot to the body.
Hernandez has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Den of Tears (22 coaches, $175 fee) in the buildup to the fight.
Hendricks moves out of range of the strikes.
Hernandez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hendricks manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hernandez takes a swing at Hendricks's ribcage but misses.
Hernandez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hendricks connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hernandez scrambles back to his feet.
Hernandez walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hendricks chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hernandez can pounce on him.
Hernandez fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hernandez throws a low kick but Hendricks moves out of range easily.
Hernandez throws a jab but it's blocked by Hendricks.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hendricks has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Hernandez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hendricks is fending him off so far but Hernandez persists. Nope, Hendricks circles away and we're back to standing.

Hernandez takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Hendricks's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
