Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Springer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakob Kellerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kellerman has chosen When Darkness Falls as his entrance music. Jerry Springer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 16 - 1, fighting out of London, Jerry Springer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jakob Kellerman!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Springer gets caught napping as Kellerman dives in and scores a takedown. Springer manages to retain guard.
Kellerman works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Springer is trying to get back to full guard.
Springer is staying active underneath Kellerman, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Kellerman is working for a submission of some sort.
Springer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Springer tries to get out of the position.
Springer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kellerman is working away from the top position though.
Kellerman is looking to pass Springer's guard but actually Springer recovers to full guard.
Kellerman wants to control from the top but Springer keeps moving.

Kellerman takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Springer won't allow Kellerman to pass to mount.

Kellerman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Springer is just riding it out for now. Kellerman eventually gives up the hold.

Springer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kellerman is working away from the top position though.

Kellerman is looking for a kimura but Springer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kellerman to get the leverage.

Kellerman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Springer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Kellerman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Springer defends it well.

Kellerman is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Kellerman!
