The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laiveta scores with a spinning back kick!
Laiveta has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Backyard training field in the buildup to the fight.
Laiveta defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Boozer.
Boozer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Boozer takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Laiveta tries a head kick but it misses.
Laiveta lands a big head kick that sends Boozer tumbling to the mat! Laiveta takes a step backwards and waves Boozer back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Boozer is rocked!
It looks like Carlo Boozer has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boozer wants to stay close but Laiveta steps back to make room for something. Boozer seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Laiveta and Boozer drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Taite Laiveta!
