Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wandeco Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Afolabi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rua comes to the cage accompanied by For Whom The Bell Tolls.. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rua clobbers Afolabi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Afolabi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rua moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Rua has Afolabi pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Afolabi is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Rua - that's hurt Afolabi badly! Oh, another knee lands and Afolabi is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Afolabi doesn't seem to be complaining.
