The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Firetribe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bakkal.
Firetribe walks into a left hand.
Firetribe lands the left hand.
Firetribe attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Firetribe moves in looking to clinch but Bakkal pushes him off.
Bakkal takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Firetribe connects with a body shot.
Bakkal does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A big right from Bakkal misses.
A slapping body kick lands there for Firetribe.
Bakkal's coach down at Urban Fight Gym (12 ELITE COACHES) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bakkal's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Firetribe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bakkal has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Bakkal is trying to maintain a safe position but Firetribe gets an underhook and turns Bakkal into the cage.
Bakkal goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Firetribe lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Bakkal fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Firetribe tries a knee to the head but Bakkal blocks it.

I was talking to Firetribe's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bakkal is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Firetribe is keeping busy.
Firetribe digs a right hand into Bakkal's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Bakkal's gas tank.

Firetribe throws a big uppercut that drops Bakkal! More strikes from Firetribe and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Bakkal lies dazed against the cage as Firetribe celebrates with his cornermen!
