Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pol fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Allen is out of range.
Allen defending well as Pol loads up on a big left hand.
Allen dives in and grabs Pol's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pol pushes down on Allen's head and hops out.
Allen with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pol, as that shot connected.
Pol misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Pol throws a chopping leg kick but Allen manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Allen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pol manages to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Allen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pol.

It looks like Pol has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Allen working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
