Wagon's entrance music is Ram Jam - Black Betty. A fine choice. Chuck Wagon has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Maximus throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Wagon counters with a left and a right that stings Maximus.
Maximus misses with a jab to the body
and Wagon counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Wagon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Maximus.
Wagon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wagon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Maximus but Maximus pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Maximus lands a jab to the nose.

It looks like Chuck Wagon has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wagon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Wagon has managed to clinch.
Wagon blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Wagon tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Wagon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Maximus can't break the clinch.

Maximus breaks from the clinch.
Wagon gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Maximus gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
