Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sami Tarake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Giraldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Sami Tarake has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sami Tarake seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giraldo takes a swing at Tarake's ribcage but misses.
Tarake needs to keep his hands up - Giraldo had a free shot at his head there.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tarake.

Tarake drives through with a takedown into Giraldo's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Tarake throws a big elbow that misses.
Giraldo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tarake controls the pace.
Giraldo looking for a sweep. Not yet Giraldo, not yet.
Tarake lands a couple of elbows.
Tarake has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Giraldo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Tarake with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Tarake slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Giraldo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tarake. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tarake drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tarake jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tarake drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Tarake seems to have locked his on tight now - Giraldo screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Tarake, as he picks up the win!

Sami Tarake decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
