Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jean Claude Van Damned (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Ruskov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Damned comes to the cage accompanied by I'm gonna need a montage. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruskov misses with a low kick.

Van Damned closes the distance and clinches.
Van Damned is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ruskov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Ruskov trying to stall but Van Damned improves his position.

Ruskov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Van Damned can't fight it off and eventually Ruskov manages to take the fight to the floor. Van Damned looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ruskov passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Van Damned stops Ruskov from passing to mount.
Van Damned is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ruskov's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Ruskov looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Ruskov is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Van Damned is looking for a sweep. Ruskov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ruskov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Van Damned keeps working.
Van Damned knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ruskov on the ground.
Van Damned is looking to get back to full guard here but Ruskov has managed to pass to side control instead.
Van Damned is looking for a sweep.
Van Damned wants to control but Ruskov postures up.
Van Damned is trying to improve his position.
Ruskov staying calm.

Let's hope that Ruskov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Ruskov advances to mount.
Van Damned is desperately trying to improve his position but Ruskov has a good base and remains in mount.
Van Damned is trying to reverse the position but instead Ruskov has taken his back - oops!
I really don't envy Van Damned right now.

Ruskov has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Van Damned is in real trouble here. Ruskov gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Van Damned is tapping out! Ruskov wins by rear naked choke!
