Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Jacarson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacarson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Jason Santos has been cut.
Santos looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Jacarson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jacarson jumps guard but Santos stands there with Jacarson around his waist. Jacarson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jacarson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Santos's guard.

Santos throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jacarson was covering up waiting for the punch and Santos finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Jacarson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
