And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Stabbard fails in his attempt to clinch.
Stabbard tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Williams cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stabbard just misses with a punch to the body.
Williams tests Stabbard's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Stabbard doesn't manage to clinch there - Williams circles away.
Stabbard shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side.
Greg Stabbard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Williams lands a nice looking body shot.
Stabbard tries to clinch up.
Williams blocks a head kick by Stabbard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stabbard closes this distance looking for a takedown but Williams circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Greg Stabbard. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Walter Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Williams connects with a nice cross there... Stabbard is looking wobbly and Williams recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Stabbard to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Williams jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
