Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Baum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Silva fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Baum looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Silva dips to his left and cracks Baum with an uppercut!

Silva drops Baum with a nice combination! Silva dives into Baum's guard, looking to finish!

Baum is rocked!

It looks like Adam Baum has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Silva is pushing down on Baum's leg trying to pass to half guard. Baum is fighting to maintain full guard but Silva has managed to sneak the leg through.
Silva is controlling the pace.
Silva's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dante Silva wasn't active enough on the ground.

A punch lands to the side of Baum 's head but he takes it in his stride.
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Baum connects with a right hand. Silva shakes it off.
Silva fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Baum throws the left hand but Silva avoids the punch easily.

Silva misses with a hook. Baum ducked under it nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Baum tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Baum to the ground. Baum escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Baum is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.

Silva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Baum has time to react.

Silva stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Silva wants it to stay on the feet.
Baum looks for the body kick but Silva saw that one coming.
Baum tries to clinch up but Silva circles away and keeps his distance.
Baum fakes the leg kick and cracks Silva in the body.
Silva lands with a straight right. Baum didn't see that one coming.

Baum avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Baum looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silva cracks a nice hook into Baum's ribs.

Silva looks to land a combination but Baum avoids it well.
Baum closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Silva lands a nice hook to Baum's body. Baum takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Silva rushes Baum with punches - Baum moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Baum goes down! Silva follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
