The crowd seem to be enjoying Buka's choice of entrance music: Dolina Muminkow. Davey Steeves is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buka drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Steeves defending against the ground and pound.
Steeves is trying to get back to half guard.
Buka trying to control the position but Steeves is working away.
Steeves gets back to half guard.

Steeves is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Buka pulls his head out easily.
Steeves gets full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Buka throws a strike but Steeves rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Davey Steeves just wasn't active enough.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Steeves enables Buka to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Steeves manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Buka with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Steeves not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Steeves is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Buka defends well.

Steeves had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Buka defends it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Buka slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Steeves lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Buka!

Buka tries to lock up and control but Steeves gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Steeves throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Buka because Steeves loaded up on that one.

Buka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Steeves. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Steeves has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Buka's face.

Steeves is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Buka can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Steeves has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Buka's face.
