Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Cheick Kongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Love Bug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bug has chosen Big Ballin with My Homies as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Love Bug was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Bug blocks the leg kick.
Bug throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kongo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kongo looks for the body kick but Bug saw that one coming.
Bug keeps Kongo at a distance using the push kick.
Bug is looking to score with low kicks.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kongo throws a head kick that misses
and Bug counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kongo's knee momentarily.
Bug tries to score with a low kick but Kongo moves his leg out of the way.
Kongo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bug can pounce on him.
Kongo is breathing heavily.
Bug lands a nice looking body kick.
A head kick misses from Bug.
Bug lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kongo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kongo on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Bug throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kongo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bug fakes the leg kick and cracks Kongo in the body.
Kongo throws a hook but Bug blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kongo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Cheick Kongo has been cut.
Bug jabs at Kongo's body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bug cracks Kongo with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Kongo is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Kongo is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!

Kongo is rocked!
Bug and Kongo are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Bug throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Kongo into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Bug knows it - he's on the ropes flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Love Bug!
