Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Haplopelma Hainanum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Risto Korpisuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hainanum comes to the cage accompanied by Kryptonite by Three Doors Down. Korpisuo has chosen Eläkeläiset - Humpparaakki as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hainanum tries to close the distance and clinch up but Korpisuo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Korpisuo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Korpisuo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hainanum is fending him off so far but Korpisuo persists. Nope, Hainanum circles away and we're back to standing.

Hainanum throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Korpisuo blocks it with crossed arms.

Hainanum is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Korpisuo is defending well for now.
Korpisuo is trying to push Hainanum away but Hainanum has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Korpisuo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hainanum tries to clinch but Korpisuo is having none of it.
Korpisuo keeps the fight on the outside.

Korpisuo shoots in for a takedown but Hainanum shows good takedown defense.

Hainanum lands a big head kick that sends Korpisuo tumbling to the mat! Hainanum takes a step backwards and waves Korpisuo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hainanum displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Korpisuo.
Korpisuo is still on wobbly legs! Can Hainanum finish him?
Hainanum looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Hainanum backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Korpisuo's temple! It sends Korpisuo violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Hainanum celebrates and the doctors try to help Korpisuo!

Haplopelma Hainanum decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
