The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Forclit bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Forclit throws an elbow but Smith slips to the side and avoids it well.
Forclit trying to control the action but Smith is working from the bottom.
Forclit misses with the ground and pound.
Smith defending against the ground and pound.
Forclit tries to score with some ground and pound. Smith controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Forclit controls the position.
Forclit working the body and head with strikes.
Forclit wants to control but Smith is keeping him busy.
Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Forclit. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
