Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vyacheslav Romanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Ladin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladin has chosen Highway to hell as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanov jabs Ladin to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Ladin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Romanov, who protects the arm well.

Ladin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Ladin goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Romanov rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ladin's guard! Nice work there by Romanov!

Romanov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Romanov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Romanov connects with a nice short shot to Ladin's temple.

Romanov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ladin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Romanov has managed to get both his arms back between Ladin's legs - danger averted.
Romanov is working Ladin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Romanov keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ladin's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Romanov lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Ladin! Romanov senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Ladin out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
