Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rick Dynamo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isai Chalaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dynamo comes to the cage accompanied by Sunrise (Here I Am) by Matt Davey feat. Kate Dowman. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rick Dynamo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chalaz pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dynamo back to the cage. Chalaz follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Chalaz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dynamo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dynamo throws a series of punches but Chalaz avoids them all with ease.

and Dynamo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dynamo.
A frustrated look appears on Chalaz's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Dynamo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dynamo tries a body shot but Chalaz blocks it.
Dynamo can't find room to land a body shot as Chalaz controls the action.
Dynamo breaks from the clinch.
Chalaz connects with a right hand. Dynamo shakes it off.
Dynamo blocks a head kick by Chalaz.
Chalaz stuns Dynamo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Chalaz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dynamo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dynamo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Chalaz is trying to control Dynamo's posture but Dynamo avoids it.
Chalaz looks to move to half guard but instead Dynamo has passed into mount! Damn!

Chalaz sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Dynamo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Dynamo is trying to control the action in half guard but Chalaz is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Dynamo is taking a breather. Chalaz says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Chalaz is looking to control Dynamo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Chalaz avoid being mounted?
Chalaz wants to get back to his feet.
Chalaz wants to control but Dynamo is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Chalaz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Chalaz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dynamo.

Dynamo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chalaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dynamo moves away.
Chalaz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chalaz wants it to stay on the feet.

and Chalaz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Dynamo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chalaz looks winded!
Chalaz tries to close the distance and clinch but Dynamo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dynamo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Chalaz on his heels. He'll look to pass Chalaz's guard now, I'm sure.

Chalaz wants to stand but Dynamo is controlling the position.

Chalaz has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dynamo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Chalaz.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dynamo happy to just control the position for now.
Chalaz takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rick Dynamo will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Dynamo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dynamo.

Chalaz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Chalaz is breathing heavily.
Dynamo gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dynamo is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Rick Dynamo just wasn't active enough.
Chalaz moves to clinch but Dynamo breaks away
so Dynamo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chalaz throws his legs up looking for a submission but Dynamo uses it to pass to side control.
Dynamo has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Chalaz!
Dynamo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Chalaz is trying desperately to improve position.

Chalaz is desperately trying to improve his position but Dynamo has a good base and remains in mount.
Dynamo looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Dynamo is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Chalaz's shoulder. That is not cool.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rick Dynamo.

Dynamo tries to free his leg and advance position but Chalaz is retaining full guard.

Dynamo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Chalaz looks a forlorn figure.

Dynamo has control of Chalaz's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Chalaz regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Rick Dynamo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dynamo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Rick Dynamo rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
