The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Smith wants to clinch

Smith showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jones.
Smith shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Jones throws a nice looking combination but Smith bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Smith tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Jones counters by moving into the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Jones breaks from the clinch.
Smith throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.
Jones throws an overhand right that has Smith reeling! Jones follows up with more punches and Smith is out cold! This one is all over!
