Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pat Ewing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Brock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brock has chosen Venom's Theme as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brock drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ewing seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Brock stands up out of Ewing's guard for a moment - Ewing manages to land a nice upkick.

Ewing has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Brock is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ewing's half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ewing is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Brock is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ewing has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Brock is looking to defend but Ewing has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Brock! Ewing pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Brock taps out and this one is all over!
