Smierdzielski is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2 Chainz - Riot. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smierdzielski drives through with a takedown into Bean's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bean is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Bean pushes Smierdzielski off and scrambles back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice sprawl there from Bean as Smierdzielski shoots in.
Smierdzielski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Good standup being displayed there by Bean as he connects with a hook.
Bean rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smierdzielski moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Smierdzielski is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bean can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Bean is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Bean takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Smierdzielski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Bean is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Smierdzielski locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Bean is forced to tap!
