Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mojo Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anabolinen Steroidi Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nixon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Like a Boss. Steroidi Jr has chosen Light Year - Sex Education as his entrance music. Anabolinen Steroidi Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nixon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steroidi Jr manages to avoid it.
Nixon tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Steroidi Jr is able to avoid easily.

and Steroidi Jr decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Nixon's guard.

Steroidi Jr drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Steroidi Jr jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mojo Nixon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Nixon parries the strikes from Steroidi Jr easily there. Steroidi Jr is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Nixon to escape.

Steroidi Jr has hold of Nixon's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Nixon tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Steroidi Jr cranks the arm and Nixon screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Nixon, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

A determined Anabolinen Steroidi Jr didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
