The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopette keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hardy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hardy shoots in and drives through. Lopette sprawls well.
Hardy misses with a takedown attempt
and Lopette counters with a low kick, right behind Hardy 's knee.
Bornas Lopette has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joey Hardy.
Hardy swings widly with a right hand
and Lopette makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Lopette getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Hardy on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lopette. Lopette obviously looking to wear him down.
Hardy throws a hook to the side of Lopette's head but Lopette sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Lopette counters with an inside leg kick.

and Lopette makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lopette, as that shot connected.

Hardy looks winded!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lopette.
Hardy takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Lopette goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Lopette lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Hardy's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hardy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hardy has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lopette.

A combination from Hardy does no damage.
Lopette thumps Hardy with a low kick.
Hardy moves forwards but Lopette connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Hardy is still on wobbly legs! Can Lopette finish him?
Lopette moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hardy seems to have recovered his senses.
Lopette buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hardy gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Lopette counters with a head kick that drops Hardy to the mat! Hardy scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Hardy on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Lopette walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Hardy drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Lopette swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Hardy's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
