The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crash feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Washingtons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A nice inside leg kick there by Washington. That's going to slow Crash down.
Crash looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Washington throws a series of strikes that have Crash backpedaling.
Washington tries to work over Crash's front leg with a kick but Crash checks it.
Washington lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Crash takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crash wants to clinch up but Washington keeps it at a distance.

Crash swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crash doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Washington moves forwards but Crash connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Washington works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Crash enables Washington to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Crash manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Washington fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crash manages to avoid it.

Washington throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Crash throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Crash.
Crash shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Crash throws a leg kick but Washington sees it coming and moves out of range.

Washington will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Some bone on bone action there as Washington checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Crash's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Washington, as that shot connected.
Crash uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Washington.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Skull Crash has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

and Washington counters with a good low kick that Crash was not able to check.
