PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bk bk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and New Tall Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bk comes to the cage accompanied by celabration. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bk bk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, New Tall Guy!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy dives in and grabs bk's left leg, looking for a takedown. bk pushes down on Guy's head and hops out.

bk gets caught flat footed, as Guy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
bk is trying to hold Guy in close to prevent damage but Guy has managed to pass into half guard.

Guy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

bk is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Guy pulls his head out easily.
Guy looks to land a strike but bk avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Guy looks up at the clock and then as bk takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Guy smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Guy is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, bk has managed to escape the submission attempt.

bk wants to control but Guy is having none of it.

Guy wants to finish this one by submission but bk is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Guy.
The referee warns bk that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
bk is looking to improve his position but Guy isn't that keen on the idea.
bk sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Guy throws a strike but bk avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Guy wants to get up but he can't break bk's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
bk is pressing down on Guy's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

New Tall Guy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! bk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Guy manages to get an easy takedown there - catching bk on his heels. He'll look to pass bk's guard now, I'm sure.

bk is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Guy defends well.
bk will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

bk escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Guy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

bk has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Guy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well Guy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
