Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Henry Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickie Jordy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the ring accompanied by Raiders March. Henry Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Henry Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mickie Jordy!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jordy on the side of the head.
Jordy is looking to clinch.
Jordy feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jones's calf.
Jones throws a head kick but Jordy moves out of range.
Jones stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jordy.
A head kick from Jordy lands but Jones takes it in his stride.
Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jordy.
Jordy drives through and clinches with Jones against the ropes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Jones tries to pull guard but Jordy holds him up against the ropes and eventually Jones drops back down to his feet.

Jones is breathing heavily.
Jones tries to pull guard but Jordy forces him back to his feet, against the ropes.

Jordy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jordy lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Jordy lands with a kick to the temple. Jones shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Jones takes a kick to the side of the head.
Jordy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones.
Jordy tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range.
Jordy moves into the clinch successfully.
Jordy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jones keeps the fight on the outside.
Jones pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jones goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jones wants to clinch up but Jordy keeps it at a distance.
Jordy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jordy to the mat! Jordy manages to get full guard.
Jones postures up in Jordy's guard and throws a big left but Jordy blocks it.
Jones lands a couple of elbows.
Jones drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jordy dives on top into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jordy has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jones to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jordy is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jones pulls down on the head and he's put Jordy to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Henry Jones!
After the fight, Henry Jones was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
