The crowd cheers as KroKop lands an impressive looking overhand right. Najdek doesn't seem phased though.
KroKop connects with a good right hand that stumbles Najdek. Najdek circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Najdek tries to clinch but KroKop moves away
and KroKop counters with a head kick that drops Najdek to the mat! Najdek scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Najdek is rocked!
KroKop lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Najdek up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs KroKop from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Najdek's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Marc KroKop!
Our winner, Marc KroKop, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
