The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silakka steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rock.

Silakka tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rock swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silakka was well out of range. Poor timing from Rock.

It looks like Tsa Rock has been cut.
Silakka throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That kick from Silakka tenderised Rock's leg. Rock is trying to keep his angry face on.

Silakka fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rock, pushing him back against the cage.

Rock on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Silakka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Silakka displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rock throws out the jab.

Oooooh!!! Silakka has knocked Rock down with a huge combo! Silakka steps away and waves a wobbly Rock back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Silakka connects with a leg kick. Rock looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Silakka instigates a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Silakka takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Still in the clinch, Silakka scores with a nice short uppercut.

Tsa Rock's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Silakka tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rock paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Silakka scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Silakka throws a looping overhand right but Rock ducks down to avoid it.
Rock moves out of range of the body kick.
Rock tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silakka misses the shot to the body.

Silakka clinches up with Rock and pushes him back against the cage.
Rock takes a shot to the head.
Silakka lands a body punch.
Silakka has Rock pushed against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Silakka presses Rock against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
