Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Maiden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Pablo Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maiden comes to the cage accompanied by Walk. Green has chosen Metallica - Unforgiven as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Juan Pablo Green!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Maiden. No joy for Green on that attempt.
Maiden moves out of range as Green strikes.
Maiden throws a looping overhand right but Green ducks down to avoid it.

Maiden feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
